- No spamming! In written chat is writing the same thing repeatedly in voice chat. It is saying the same thing repeatedly. In both cases, it's a desperate attempt at gaining attention and is juvenile and annoying.
- Keep insults and smack talk game related. Never insult someone's religion or personal beliefs. Don't be a racist. Just as in the real world, hate is hate and is unacceptable
- When playing online teams don't vote to boot a newbie for just a few mistakes. Give him pointers instead and help him become a better player. We were all new players and made mistakes once.
- If you play a team game don't be greedy and snap up all the points were all the bonuses or bonus weapons. Share and share alike.
- If you play on a team with a team. There is no "I" in team. Not everyone can be the hero every time. Don't rush ahead it will cost your teammates or they'll have a reason to hate you.
- Veteran players should not pick on newbies. There is no glory in beating someone who isn't even sure how to play yet.
- Creating duplicate accounts is cheating. If you want to play with yourself go off-line and do it.
- Don't send repeated invites to guilds, teams, duels, matches or other group functions. If someone says no once they don't want to play... get over it!
- It is rude to FRAG immediately after respawning, give them a second to get their bearings.
- Don't pick on the defenseless as their defenses may be hidden or you may be just discouraging a newbie from ever playing the game again and that's just wrong.
- If you are playing a first-person shooter game don't whine when others go after you, Of course they want to win too.
- If you do talk smack, don't complain when people do it back to you
- Don't talk smack if you can't back it up!
- Don't say sorry if you don't mean it
