Creating duplicate accounts is cheating. If you want to play with yourself go off-line and do it.

I never understood why people did this. Why is it necessary to have duplicate accounts? Yes, you can statistically be more successful at the game but bottom line is its cheating. Yes, you may have a successful frag count on one profile, but why have an account to help you increase that count.

Is your ego so small that you feel like a better person if you have more kills than the other online players? Playing online is a good test on how well you're doing in the game. Are you picking the game up fast, or do you need to improve in a particular area? These are questions you should ask yourself while playing off-line.

There really is no benefit, and you cannot judge the type of player you are if you have multiple accounts. For example, you do very well under one account, but yet, you are terrible at another. Do people really feel that they are better player if they have a lot of kills against a player that doesn't fight back? You now have to mentally juggle accounts in your brain to figure out if you're a good player.

Having great numbers isn't necessarily a sign of a great player. It just proves that you play a lot and truly is no test of a good player you are. All it is is just a stat next to your name. Big deal! Having great or a lot of stats is in no way a litmus test to how good a player you are. Your stats cannot tell you how agile you are or how good of a shot you are. People can only assume how great of a player you are based on your stats. They will never really know unless they play a game against you.

The only way you will ever figure out if you're good player is to play another player that is just as good as you, because then you will improve. Not having by multiple accounts and creating the illusion that you're good. In my opinion, that type of cheating is just a way to make yourself look better as a player when you're really not that good!

Don't tell others how to play their characters

Don’t tell others how to play their characters, that's just rude. Just because you wouldn't do something doesn't mean somebody else would. What is great about what makes us people is our individuality. Playing online is just an extension of who we are as people. One man's garbage is another man's gold, and just because you don't value something doesn't mean somebody else won't.

Be careful because everything is from your point of view. That is really what most people have to remember when they see someone doing something that they don't understand. We all have a way and style we like to play and that is great. But just because I play a certain way doesn't mean, my buddy sitting next to me play the same way. Just remember about perspectives. Everyone has one, and they are all different.

This task becomes more difficult as you become more of a veteran. When you see someone do something that you would do. You instantly try to stop them from doing so. But the thing is you have no idea what they are trying to do. Telling them how to do something is just poor etiquette. Asking questions is okay, but telling another player how to play the game is just wrong.

You may know how to play well for you! But that doesn't mean the way you play is not the best way to play for somebody else. If you begin imposing your will on others you are sure to be kicked out of most groups quickly. So don't do it let others play the game their way even if you think they are playing the game badly.

Never forget to continue to educate yourself all the time when you are addicted to playing a particular game. There are plenty of resources out there now that will help you become a better player at any game you are playing.

The Internet is a great source of information for you, but a tempting one nonetheless. For every site you hit there is another one out there that shows you all the great cheats out there as well. So be careful when you're out there because it is tempting to educate yourself on the cheats as well.

Some sound advice for when you find a site that is helpful for you is to bookmark it. What is also important you bookmark something is to remove it when it stops being helpful. You need to keep your bookmarks updated to keep yourself updated on the best way to play a game.

There are tons of online guides that you can take advantage of out there. These guides will help you become a better more well-rounded player. You can go online and find guides that give you general information as well as very specific information on how to play.

Just remember to focus when reading up on a game. I know I get tempted at want to learn everything great about the game at one time rather than taking one tip at a time and mastering it. I know I would be a much more successful player if I just took the time to learn a particular task well and then move onto the next task once I feel I have mastered what I read.

You will find the other players will appreciate the knowledge you've gained when you've read up and learned all the good tips of playing the game. This doesn't happen overnight, so don't expect quick results like I do. Once you have read a good tip the other side of the coin is learning to apply the tip you were given. I know I find this to be the most difficult part of learning how to effectively play a game. You will find that once others catch on to the fact that you have a lot of knowledge about all aspects of the game you will realize that you are now an expert.

People will be coming to you now because of the work you did just by reading up on the game. Others will be treating you like an expert. And all you did was read up and learned all the effective tricks and tips on how to play the game.

Try to ignore insults

I know it's tough but try to ignore insults. They are part of the game so just remember that they are not personal even though they may sound that way. I know this advice is a lot easier said than done, but to be a truly successful player you must learn not to listen to others say about you while you're playing the game.

Most players try to bait you into making a poor decision game wise by playing on your emotions. I know someone who uses this technique to his advantage all the time. We were playing a game and he gave me a look that let me know that he was about to do something that he thought was funny. He then turned around and insulted one of the players who he was playing against in the game. The player got so worked up about it came out of hiding and tried to charge my friend. After he got FRAGGED and the game had and we both sat back and had a big laugh about it.

What was so funny about the situation was the player had my buddy pinned down. If he just stopped and not played with his emotions. He probably would've survived. There was absolutely no need for him to blow his cover and charge my friend. Yet he did. He led the insult get the best of him and he paid the ultimate price.Sometimes players will insult you in such a way that you feel that you can't ignore it.

Just remember that you can pretty much ignore any insult out there. Some players will even get super personal just hoping that you will blow it and get caught up in the emotions of the game. Some people will insult your family, your political beliefs, and anything else that they know will get a rise out of you. Just remember when you fall for their ploys most likely you will lose.If you are having trouble ignoring someone's insults just sit back and let them tire themselves out. You'll get the best of any player throwing insults around by showing them that it's not working. Players that prey on your emotions generally aren't that great of players. If they were they would stop talking the talk and start walking the walk. A great player enjoys playing the game not playing your emotions. Just remember that the next time someone is trying to get your goat.

When playing online teams don't vote to boot a newbie for just a few mistakes. Give him pointers instead and help him become a better player. We were all new players and made mistakes once.

Okay, for all you experts out there that are playing online teams don't be so quick to judge the newbies. Lighten up a little. Not everyone can be an expert the moment they pick up the controller. In fact, even you make mistakes when you first start playing a game. Mistakes are expected so don't think everyone is perfect, you aren't.

Don't give them the boot just because they make some rookie mistakes. Don't you remember when you were a rookie once as well? Just think if every time you made a mistake as a rookie you got booted. You would've never learned how to play the game. If that had happened you would be at home by yourself on your couch playing nothing. How would you ever gotten any good at the game?

Here's an idea, why don't you teach them and mentor them? If you teach them and mentor them you will find a huge ally in the future. Not only will you find a huge ally in you'll probably gain a new and extremely loyal partner. I know when I play I am loyal to anyone who helps me out. I know this isn't always the case but isn't it worth the risk?

If your team is always recruiting then you have just found great way for your team to find new recruits. Not only do you get a body. You will get a complete blank canvas to mold someone on. Does your team be the sniper? If you teach the newbie how to be a successful sniper you just found one for your team. What a novel idea. You just took someone with no skills whatsoever, taught them skills, and used those skills to your advantage. This is much better way of playing successfully than being impatient and narrow-minded. Most importantly, you just taught someone something that they will appreciate longer than you think.

So what's the verdict? Are you just sit there and boot anyone who makes a mistake off your team? I'm telling you it's a waste of your time to have that attitude. Just think of all the great players you'll meet if you have decided to take a rookie under your wing. Now I know a lot of players don't care about their legacy. But what an impressive legacy you may have by mentoring a bunch of newbies. You may give birth to a whole new different type of care player... wouldn't that be cool?
