Creating duplicate accounts is cheating. If you want to play with yourself go off-line and do it.

I never understood why people did this. Why is it necessary to have duplicate accounts? Yes, you can statistically be more successful at the game but bottom line is its cheating. Yes, you may have a successful frag count on one profile, but why have an account to help you increase that count.

Is your ego so small that you feel like a better person if you have more kills than the other online players? Playing online is a good test on how well you're doing in the game. Are you picking the game up fast, or do you need to improve in a particular area? These are questions you should ask yourself while playing off-line.

There really is no benefit, and you cannot judge the type of player you are if you have multiple accounts. For example, you do very well under one account, but yet, you are terrible at another. Do people really feel that they are better player if they have a lot of kills against a player that doesn't fight back? You now have to mentally juggle accounts in your brain to figure out if you're a good player.

Having great numbers isn't necessarily a sign of a great player. It just proves that you play a lot and truly is no test of a good player you are. All it is is just a stat next to your name. Big deal! Having great or a lot of stats is in no way a litmus test to how good a player you are. Your stats cannot tell you how agile you are or how good of a shot you are. People can only assume how great of a player you are based on your stats. They will never really know unless they play a game against you.

The only way you will ever figure out if you're good player is to play another player that is just as good as you, because then you will improve. Not having by multiple accounts and creating the illusion that you're good. In my opinion, that type of cheating is just a way to make yourself look better as a player when you're really not that good!

Don't forget to communicate

I have a friend that for some reason that never remembers to communicates with the rest of the team on what he's doing in a game. For some reason, he will never understand why it is so frustrating to play with someone who doesn't tell you what he's doing. We will never sell him on the fact that it's important to tell the rest of us what he's doing.

For example, we were all looking for an item in a game. We searched as a team and communicated effectively our findings. We spent a good 20 minutes looking for a specific item that would help us advance in the game and in one form or another we were discussing it while we were playing.  Lo and behold our lone ranger friend had found the item and failed to report it to the rest of. So instead of thinking he was an idiot or apologizing for not saying that he had the item. He acted like it was everyone on the team's fault for not advancing further.

All he had to do was listen or look at the screen to know that we were looking for the item he had in his possession all along. Instead, he had to be a lone wolf and play the game by himself and not let any of the five other players know that we could advance further, because he had the item. How could he not know that we were looking for that item all along?

It is a simple process for anyone to figure out. When you are playing with the team do not forget to communicate. If you do your team can adjust its strategy and be more effective when playing the game. I really don't think it's that hard to figure out. Here is another thought. If you communicate with your team your team will respect you and want to play with you more. That way you won't be the butt of all their jokes.

It is rude to FRAG immediately after respawning, give them a second to get their bearings.

If someone respawns right in front of you give them a chance to look around and see where they are. Be patient and just give them a chance to figure out where they are playing. I hate to say this like a parent but how would you like it. If you respawned and weren't given a chance to play the game.

It's just plain rude to not let them get their bearings. Yes, you may fulfill your ego by allowing you to have a lot of FRAGS, but come on, let's have a little bit of a honor system. Just give the guy a chance to look around and figure out where he is. You have a distinct advantage so give the guy a chance to run away. Now if he turns around and begin striking you then by all means frag away!

I am not trying to tell you to be a pushover, but you may be removing yourself from a highly entertaining situation by letting your enemy go. If he is a worthy adversary he will run away, know where you are roughly, and begin a good attack sequence adding entertainment to your playing of the game. Isn't that what you're here for anyway? Or are you online to fulfill that fantasy of revenge and fulfillment of ego for a bad day. Just don't be rude, play the game, and enjoy yourself.

Play fair

When you constantly use cheats I feel you are a poor player. When you have to use them you are basically admitting that you are not a good enough player to win without them. Whether or not you verbalize the fact that you use cheats it makes no difference, you are not a good enough player to win without using them. You have to accept the fact you are not good enough to win without them.

You will find your way much more rewarding when you do it on your own. I know I select a parent I say that, but it's true. When you use a cheat you know back in your mind that you really don't have to play as hard. Subconsciously you know that you weren't a good enough player to win without using a cheat. That can be gratifying at all.

If you know that you are good enough to play on the field of battle and not cheat then just play by yourself and practice more. I don't understand why this is such a tough concept for people to understand. Have you ever heard the term “Practice makes perfect”? It's not that tough to figure out that if you're getting FRAGGED the moment you step on the field then you need to practice more. Stop getting caught up in the world of instant gratification and improve your gameplay.

The more you practice the more you'll figure out what successful players are doing. A very easy way of learning, what successful people are going when they play is practice. I know I sound like a broken record, but you really just need to learn to do it. It can be frustrating and you will get FRAGGED a lot, but ultimately you will benefit when you step on the field and make the game look easy. You will be very impressed with yourself when you do well.

If you are playing a game and losing in a big way consider changing rooms and going into a room that is more your level of gameplay. I know your ego will be bruised, but if you learn how to play. You will be able to go into rooms that have a higher level of gaming going on. You will feel better about doing this, then cheating. Trust me, it will be frustrating at first but once you start pummeling people on your own accord and with your own skills you will be very happy.

I understand that sounds like basic advice but a lot of players need it. If the advice wasn't needed, to not use cheats then there would be no cheats to use. If players did not use cheats there would not be any cheats to use. Game programmers would never program cheats either. I know it's a pie-in-the-sky thought to think this advice could eliminate cheats. Unfortunately cheats can’t be eliminated, but let's reduce their power by not using them.
