No spamming! In written chat is writing the same thing repeatedly in voice chat. It is saying the same thing repeatedly. In both cases, it's a desperate attempt at gaining attention and is juvenile and annoying.

I think we can all agree on this spamming is lame! Just because it's a different form of spamming like saying the same thing over and over again it is agitating so please stop. If you think the other people on the end of the controller are not smart enough to not listen to what you're saying. Then you yourself are pretty dumb. And you're being annoying and a place that annoyance is not tolerated.

If you think saying the same thing over and over again is not spamming then you are dumber than you look. It is not that hard to put two and two together. When you spam in writing. You send the same thing over and over again. It is the exact same thing if you say the same thing over and over. Semantics is really the only difference. The way you deliver your message is different yes. But your message is still spam, sorry! Nice try!

The Internet is full of places you can sell your products on, so waste your time on those sites. Don't bring it into the game room. It's a completely different type of medium. People are here to have fun, so why would you want to ruin that? The people are there to enjoy themselves and have a form of entertainment.

Though you may get your message out there and that people hearing it. Now people have a negative feeling about your product. A lot of hard-core gamers will do their best to make sure no one gets your product just because you annoyed them to the point when a game they love is no longer fun.

Who wants to spend their time looking for a spam free room when they could be wasting that time, getting some hits? What you spammers need to understand is that just because we aren't seeing the same thing written over and over again doesn't mean we are just as annoyed by hearing you repeat the same thing over and over again. So to all you spammers out there take it easy on us. We just want to play our games.

I don't think we will ever eliminate spam in this world. But can we try to eliminate it. When all we are trying to do is play a game and have fun? Wouldn't the world be perfect?

You have to deal with the anonymous moron affect!

The use of headsets is great. It makes gameplaying so much easier when you can yell out defensive tactics to your team. The precision you have telling your teammates, what you're doing with military precision is beautiful. Headset communication is the future of online gameplay. Anyone who doesn't agree is a moron.
The bad thing about headsets that people need to learn to deal with is that people use them to learn how to play the game effectively. You have to deal with silly questions like, "Does anyone know where our base is? What is this tall yellow thing? Hello? Hello, can anyone hear me? Can someone tell me where our base is? How do I get to the..."

Below are some basic guidelines to remember when using voice chat:
1. Testing: 1,2,3. Make sure your microphone works and is at an appropriate volume level before you go all out. Nobody needs to hear high pitched static for 20 seconds straight, or have you yell "CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?!?!?" at a level that would shatter stained glass.

2. Stay on topic. If you're in a game in which 30 players are all trying to defeat a massive dragon, and you absolutely must talk to your mother about why you didn't do your homework, please turn off your microphone. Other players need the chat lines open to discuss the monster's weak points, not why your bed-time should be later. Killing the mic will also save you from a lot of potential embarrassment.

3. No racism, sexism, homophobic name-calling. Honestly, if you need to be told this, you probably can't be cured. But either way, you have to realize that nobody is going to be offended by your "insult", and you are simply exposing immaturity.I think everyone can agree that these three simple rules are good for chatting with a headset while playing some your favorite games. Everyone needs to just learn the proper etiquette for using a headset. It's not that hard and pretty easy to remember the steps for effective gameplay with a headset.Unfortunately, sometimes you have to deal with the anonymous moron affect which means unfortunately have to be willing to deal with the morons out there. You need to be a little patient. When dealing with people that don't know the etiquette of using a headset. It's a new medium for gameplay, so people are learning the etiquette as they play. You just need to be patient and deal with the fact that not everyone is an expert like you are. Good luck and be patient is my advice to you people out there that are growing impatient. Just remember the longer people play, the more they will learn the rules of good etiquette.
